Thermal Circuit Breakers 1657, 1658 and 1659 Space-saving – well-proven – cost-effective
E-T-A´s 1657, 1658 and 1659 are single pole thermal reset circuit breakers in a miniaturised design intended for threadneck and snap-in mounting. Contrary to standard blade fuses, the products can be easily and quickly reset after tripping due to overcurrent. All three types are available with blade or screw terminals.
Each product features a trip-free mechanism and a snap-action mechanism to ensure reliable and automatic disconnection in the event of an overcurrent, even with a blocked actuator button. The thermal trip characteristic makes the 1657, 1658 and 1659 ideally suited for the protection of motors, transformers and cables.
